You'll take on the role of Tre and work on earning some rep in the neighborhood by getting in organized street fights, sticking up jewelry stores, shoplifting, and all types of ill business. While the list of options might sound appealing, one is barely different from the next, and the core of the game is a very awful beat-'em-up with a few practically meaningless squad commands that you can use to order your followers around. Sometimes rival gangs will pile up into a mess of swinging limbs and weapons that showcase the game's bad artificial intelligence and ugly animation. Sometimes you'll get to go one-on-one with a guy and witness firsthand the horror of the game's busted fighting system. Regardless of the situation, the gameplay is uniformly bad. You're given two attack buttons, a block, and a modifier button that lets you use a portion of an easy-to-fill adrenaline meter to bust out special attacks that do more damage. You can press two buttons together to execute a throw, which is funny-looking because the enemies fly away from you as though you were tossing an empty cardboard box. When you've beaten an enemy down to a sufficiently low level, the Y button appears over his head. Pressing the Y button kills that enemy with a special fatality animation. Some of these are neck breaks, or if you're holding a machete, you pick the guy up over your head and poke the blade into him. Some of them are wrestling moves, like arm bars, that probably wouldn't kill a guy no matter how hard you yanked his arm back. The combo system is uninteresting, and the moves don't look good...

¿Cuántas veces has querido eliminar alguno de los
elementos de Windows que irremediablemente se
instalan con dicho sistema operativo? Messenger,
Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Media Player...
no siempre te interesa tener esos programas y

aplicación, podrás crear tus DVDs a partir de
archivos MPEG con ciertas posibilidades: seleccionar

Permite al administrador de red visualizar, monitorizar y
analizar todo tipo de eventos que se graben en los logs de
las máquinas configuradas, en los apartados de seguridad,
sistema y aplicaciones.



El programa ofrece además algunas funcionalidades avanzadas
como por ejemplo el filtrado de la lista de eventos, que te
permite revisar el log ordenado de acuerdo con diferentes
categorías, o el poder visualizar una descripción de cada
evento.



Podrás abrir varios documentos al mismo tiempo, clasificar
las máquinas que quieres controlar en una estructura en

Openwengo 0.99 ya disponible, y la beta
2.0 incluso para Mac-intel

Poco a poco ya se van acercando a la versión 1.0, aunque
acaban de lanzar su versión 0.99 para Windows 2000/XP, justo
en el día donde algunas comunidades de mensajería lanzan la
iniciativa "The Open Discussion Day", donde promoverán y
fomentarán el uso de sistemas libres y abiertos de
comunicaciones, sin hacer uso durante este día de sistemas
propietarios, aunque ya veo que a muchos se resistirán a
seguirlo.

Pues bien, Openwengo es un programa de
código abierto, disponible para Windows, Linux y Mac OS X,
cuyo codigo fuente está disponible está disponible bajo
licencia GPL y que nos permite
establecer llamadas voip empleado el estándar abierto
SIP, Session Initiation Protocol,
además de envíos de mensajes sms y videoconferencias usando
el codec H263 incluso en Linux,
por si alguien se lo estaba preguntando.

Tambien contamos con la beta 2.0 de este sistema de
mensajería y voip, soportado tambien mac-intel, donde aparte
de no exigir muchos requisitos de hardware, un procesador a
400 Mhz con 128 megas de ram mínimo, nos encontramos con
nuevo entornos con nuevas funcionalidades, llamadas
telefónicas, chat, envíos de mensajes sms, conferencias y
videoconferencias.

Juraría que alguien hace poco nos preguntaba acerca de un
programa de videoconferencia para Linux, pues openwengo está
soportado sobre Windows, Linux y Mac OS X Intel/PPC, y
próximamente tambien para Pocket PC.

Limpiando voy, limpiando vengo, con HDCleaner, yo me entretengo

Bueno, no es que haya que entretenerse mucho con
HDCleaner, herramienta gratuita
para Windows el cual dispone de una serie de utilidades que nos
permiten eliminar archivos ya innecesarios en el sistema y que
además nos permite eliminar las entradas de registro pertenecientes
a programas que ya no tenemos.

Con Drive Cleaner nos busca esos archivos ya inncesearios donde
nos permitirá añadir las extensiones de archivos a los que queremos
considerar basura, nos permite meter los archivos encontrados en la
papelera de reciclaje, eliminación manual, automática y otras
opciones.

Y contamos con Registry Cleaner, cuya función ya hemos explicado,
eliminar entradas ya innecesarias. Contamos con otras herramientas
para la gestión de dichos archivos, análisis del arranque de windows,
opciones antiespias, etc...

Odoplus, midiendo nuestro ratón

Odoplus se trata de una herramienta
bastante curiosa, ya que nos permite registrar cualquier
acción que realicemos con nuestro ratón. Esto incluye el
movimiento, los clicks en los botones (izquierdo,
derecho y central) y el scroll con el botón central.

A medida que vayamos realizando cada una de estas
acciones, los contadores se incrementarán. Por ejemplo,
en 2 horas que lleva ejecutándose, he recorrido 174
metros (600.000 pixeles), he hecho 1560 clicks y he
movido la rueda central del ratón unas 760 veces. Esto
es algo que ya podíamos hacer con otros programas
similares, pero este, además, nos mostrará gráficamente
el sitio exacto dónde hemos hecho click, y el número de
cliks que hemos hecho por esa zona. Como ejemplo, en mi
caso aparece algo como en la imagen de la derecha.

En ella se pueden observar varios patrones: la zona
central recibe más clicks, los clicks están repartidos
en la diagonal superior-izquierda-inferior-derecha, y
también hay una concentración de clicks en la zona
superior-derecha, justo dónde tengo las últimas pestañas
abiertas, que he estado usando intensivamente en este
tiempo.
